This league is an Intermediate & Competitive Coed League

This 2v2 Coed league has 2 divisions (intermediate/competitive), plays one day per week (Thursdays rotates early and late 8:10/8:45p or , 9:20/9:55p) 5 weeks, and ends with 1 - 2 weeks of playoffs.

PLAY:
You play 2 teams per night, for coed 2s 35 minute timed games (goal 2 sets to 21 against each team). Some courts will have regular coed 2v2 matches (2 sets to 21) and other courts will play cali coed 2v2 (CALI 2v2 is 4 coed 2s teams (play 1 set to 25, first team to 25 ends the set and everyone else records their score at that time) on one court speeding back and forth to make it to the winner side to score points. Super fast paced fun league that is bound to be the best exercise around!) - Cali courts will be played once we reach the max amount of teams for each league.

*all teams in this league will play both regular coed 2s and cali 2s. It will depend on number of sign ups that determine how many cali courts occur each night.)

Details: Train with our experienced Beach Volleyball coaches for 1 hour every week, learn beach volleyball fundamentals (passing, setting, attacking, serving) then play live mini-tournament style King/Queen of the Beach (KQOB) games every week in a 2 v 2 format. We will mix and match partners for every round of tournament play!

Players will also be encouraged to participate some in our Saturday/Sunday weekend Tournaments $40 entry, but it is not required. No gate entry fees and no parking fees. All Junior tournaments will be posted here:

Summer Club welcomes athletes,NO TRYOUTS NECESSARY, Just sign up! Our, 5-8th, and 9-12th club does recommend some prior volleyball experience (2 or more years). We have a beginner summer club for grades 3-6th and beginner clinics grades k-8.

(if you miss any practices no worries at all you can make them up anytime at any other club practice M-TH).
2 hour practice/ & mini games 2x week (again you can mix & match days and times...we know summers are busy and we want to be flexible)

Who: Ages 12-18. Boys & Girls.

We have elite , intermediate, and beginner players and each team/player will be split up by skill level.

Encouraged to sign up with a Partner as this is doubles 2vs2 training, however a partner is NOT required.
Throughout the training we will work to find you the right partner but a partner is not required. You can email invite friends from within the registration to join our league with you.

DETAILS:
Players will be in a groups of 10 or less, divided by skill levels, with an experienced Beach Volleyball Coach. All players will learn basic through advanced fundamentals, serving passing, setting, hitting, defense, and game strategy in addition to learning more advanced skills and play. Sign up with a partner/friend or as an individual (preferred to sign up with partner)! The players will be playing 2 v 2 double format, play every position, more touches on the ball, & great exercise.

This is a youth level mult-sport beach camp. Your child will enjoy a unique experience playing beach volleyball, dodgeball, beach soccer, cornhole, frisbee and more! Learn the basics of these sports having fun and running in the sand. PLUS, fun new themes each week.

Competitive vs Intermediate vs Rec

Competitive - tight hand set calls, comes in and out of both hands equally no side ways sets or sets with excessive spin - more advanced game in general (Open/A level reference)

Intermediate - a little looser on hand sets but no doubles and excessive spin. Level below competitive (BB/B level reference)

Rec - 3 hits on both sides, no carrying or holding the ball, sets are not called unless holding or carrying for too long. No jump serves allowed. (C level and below reference)

PLAY:
2 teams per night & match play 😲 say what!! 21, 21, 15 if split.
8p and 8:40 start times
Playoffs Best of 3 (21, 21, 15, single elimination)

REQUIREMENTS:
1 women minimum per team for 4v4
